Words

I won a poetry contest for this poem let me know what you think.....

It is words that cut like knives,

and it is words people despise.

words that bring grief to our heart,

and words that can tear us apart.

Words can bring us joy,

even if our whole world is destroyed.

Nothing but one word is all it takes to be heard.
