Sitting in silence for so long
A voice inside begging, screaming to get out
Reaching for a friend, someone to get a hold of
Anyone to capture the pain, hold it captive


Knowing time will pass with the ease of the blowing wind
As the lightning strikes and the tsunami begins
Like a mountainous terrain that never ends
Where one slope stops a new incline begins

Feeling like the light is unattainable
Gathering all the strength to pull from the verge of insanity
But the tears still drop and the rain still pours
One false move will close all the doors
