Small and beady
Like those of a crow
Watching
Sinking,
Feeling
So small
Because they seem
To be waiting for me to

They wait
Wait on me

Is to be set free
From them, they want

What am I supposed to say?
To think?
I sit here, unable to blink
To pull my eyes free from them,
They seem to think I can change who
I am
Everywhere I go
Everything I do
You will help me, won’t you?
No, no, I am alone,
With this paranoia
It’s all I know
You call me
Beckon me
Bring me close,
But all I see
Is what you know
Like looking into the eyes of a crow.
You don’t know me
So look away
Why must I go through this
Every day?
Am I different?
Am I a freak?
Because all I fear
Are those eyes
That never leave.
