Invisible

This is a poem about wanting the attention of a crush.

I am invisible.
To this man I am no one.
I enter the same room
hoping for a glance and a smile.
I yearn for our eyes to meet.
I just want him to notice me.
The event goes on and he leaves.
He never even glanced my way.
What is wrong with me? I wonder.
Every day it is the same.
I am so close to him, yet so far away.
I am invisible only to him.
