Truth

A mini poem that hurts.

'It was all a lie' she sobbed, 'That's why I'm so upset'

He smirked and turned away and then he lit a cigarette.

'You're right' his voice was icy, 'I never wanted you.'

And that is how real life would go if people told the truth.
