Why do I hide how I feel?
How do I know what is real?

Why must I question my fate?
Why do I seek my escape?

Why do I feel so much pain?
Why am I lifeless and slain?

Why does my love not embrace me?
Why are my movements not hasty?

Why am I filled full of sorrow?
Why do I wait till tomorrow?

Why can’t I wait and be patient?
Why do I ask and not take it?

Why do I feel so much power?
Why has my soul been devoured?

Why am I broken in spirit?
Why do I constantly fear it?

Why is my bliss out of reach?
Why have I learned but don’t teach?

Why was I given no choice?
Why am I hearing your voice?

Why do I look toward the sky?
Why do I ask myself WHY?
