When I Leave

This is a poem that i wrote not so long ago

In a way, i am here, but only in a sense,
my mind lives somewhere far away from here.
So badly i want to leave this place
due to frustration rather than fear.
All of this is driving me to a point of insanity
if i cannot find where i wish to be ill go mad

For much too long now ive been living with ignorance
but now i have had enough, for it is starting to get bad..
I will find a way to leave
for my family i surely do miss,
eventually i will begin to see
how everything happened for a reason,
and how much i have learned from this......
