Everyone is slowly losing their sanity. A short poem from the perspective of a broken man. |
| Some say tragedy triggers insanity But what of the exception? My home was never set to flame My wife had not the chance to leave Still I only cry in rain Musn't let them see my pain Strung up on wood Christ's debt to pay Chains and shackles bind my soul Father, why hath thou forsaken me? And it all builds up When they say you're crazy Weaknesses protected Nothing in life to shame And yet I begin to see Yes, insanity reigns |
