The true meaning of life.

People tell me, "Life's the greatest!"
I retort, "It's over rated."
When I laugh, I merely fake it.
When I'm hurt, I simply take it.
Every heart, a lie will break it.
Every tear, pain creates it.
Love is prison, you can't escape it.
A mistake's a burden, you cannot shake it.
The past's concrete, you can't erase it.
Time keeps moving, you'll never make it.
"That's life," they say. "Just embrace it."
If that's what life is, then i fucking hate it.
