Roughly, people who talk too much

A simple thing conversing be
If shared by more than one -
A pleasant thing soliloquy
If kept from some -
But others indeed there are
Who take me by the hand
And hold me captive - as it were -
Like the hostage that I am -
Is conversation bidding
For his own to store?
Or am I the unwilling
Having given up the floor?
