My view of Breast Cancer, its effects, and the ability to overcome and conquer. |
| She stands alone, her age unknown. Her scars, some minor, others, deep, jagged, ripped away; now healed, tell her history of savagery and disease. I imagine her pain, a limb destroyed or rotted by disease, the years are many she suffered deformity. I marvel at her strength and process allowing her to rebound and survive. I see beyond her scars and see the beauty within. She gave me the wisdom to understand, what happens in nature, happens in man. A reminder of what had been a symbol, not of an end, but a new beginning. The beauty in what remains; nature in balance once again. My view of Breast Cancer, its effects, and the ability to overcome and conquer. |
