Why??

A very basic question about faith and trust.

Which way when all hope is gone?
Where to when all alone?
When the path is so unclear
Is an answer ever near?

These, among others, we often ask
When we seem not up to the task.
We fret, worry, and contemplate
And, with our self, vigorously debate.

There clearly is another way
If we, from this, wish to stray.
Take your need to God in prayer
To One Who proves that He doth care.
