The Secret Tome

An acrostic poem of "The Secret Tome"

This eventide passes with stars overhead
Heaven's vault is open to gaze undisturbed, watching my every move
Elemental changes I cannot discern ebb and flow all around

Secrets are held within this written page
Evolve, oh, dispel the historic pondering therein
Crack the code so my eyes may see
Remove the barriers so my ears can hear
Eliminate the confusion so my voice can proclaim
To understand, oh to understand

The tome of knowledge, life, truth, song, hope, faith and love
Oh to sing, to sing
May the  surreptitious prose lift me up
Ever more and ever after the writing shall hold its mystery and I shall ever wonder
