This is a reflection on loss...

LOSS

Heartache, sorrow, betrayal, grief, loneliness... 
    trail tears of scorn.

Sleepless nights, fretting, self-loathing,
    mourning, depression, negativity:  be eschewed.
 
Bless the Lord, oh my soul!^/1/

The Promised One sticketh closer than a brother, and^/2/
    He will never leave or forsake His own.^/3/

He is the First and the Last^/4/, the Beginning and the End^/5/.
