Just trying to motivate myself to work on my novel. Wrote this poem in the mean time.

Scribbling on my pad
I wait for you to come
Hoping for a showing
But once again there's none

Without you by my side
I don't have much to say
I try to gather my thoughts
But time just slips away

You'd whisper so much to me
Made my imagination soar
Now I'm just sad to see
Things just aren't like before

I wait for you to come
Been sitting here patiently
We've got so much to share
Just stay a while and you'll see
