Nothing To Do

Written on a slow day at work, trying to look busy. Summer 2009

Nothing to do
but trying to look busy.
Don't want to get caught
writing about my misery.

Typed all my notes
and made a nice spreadsheet
of every call I've made
in the past 3 weeks

Creating reasons,
making up tasks.
I hope they don't see me sleeping
through my 'I'm working' mask.

Of being busy
I'll never complain.
There's nothing to do
and I'm going insane.
