Disappointment

This is how my family can make me feel...

The ties that bind, I have broken.
My actions were louder than what I've spoken.
So I turn away from a future uncertain,
With a tear in my eye, I lower the curtain.
Truly pained by the wrongs I've done,
I don't deserve to live in the sun.
So I look to others to find my love,
One day I'll find what I always dreamt of.
