Let it Be

This poem is about someone feeling left out and wanting someone to care for them.

a lonely soul

wandering through a dark night

kinda scared now

no one in sight

nobody shone a light on me

pondering aimlessly through sleeping neighborhoods

I see

no one cares to watch me

like a seed needs time to grow

a nurturing stranger

willing and patiently so

to give it a chance

to watch and let it

spread its leaves

to truly be

a somebody
