Friends' secrets

A quick free verse/sort of poem.

You say "What a coinsidence.
"Friend, you were just on my mind."
Well, there's something neither of you know
He was also on mine
I better just keep my mouth shut
And try not to stare
At that beautiful boy sitting right there

He's already got someone
But its not the same
The fight was over and done
When I learned her name
I don't know what to do
I can't believe I've cried tears
I'll just hide these feelings for you
And maybe in a few years ...
You two might have meant to be
I'll just have to wait and see
Till then my friend
I'll keep waiting till the end.
