In the dark

When nothing's working right...

This is not i wanted,
this is not i asked for,
this is not i desired,
this is not i dreamt of.

It's so different, it's so strange...

I don't know what's going on,
don't know why it is so.

It's happening, so fast, so soon.

I'm trying, harder n harder,
but nothing's happening, nothing's changing.

I'm going deeper n deeper.
it's so dark, it's so cold...

I'm looking,
for a sound, for a sign...
something.
but there's nothing i can see or hear,
nothing i can do.

Iam holding out my hand,
for something to touch, something to grab,
or someone, to pull me out, back in the light,
but i grab nothing but air, dark air.

I can't see the light, i can't find the way
And here i am, still,
In the dark...
