A poem I randomly wrote for my father, not very good though

I've tried so hard
to get you to notice me
but all I feel like is your property
I can't understand why I was betrayed
you don't even know my name
I gave you my heart
and i lost my head
I wish you were dead
Why can't you see
what you're doing to me
All I ever asked was a little time
why's that a crime
Now I only hide
inside my mind
I need you now
more than I ever did
I mean damn,
I'm your kid
