Wings

Inspired by my new "Muse"

I leave you this
To think upon
For the while
Which I am gone.

Devils fly
On angels wings,
While we talk
Of lifes bitter things.

While we wait
To only die,
Paying no attention
To those who try

To make our life
Easier to bear.
We struggle with strife
And do not care

To let them know
They touch our hearts.
Never do we show
Or let them take part.

I am saying this to you,
And I swear that it's true,
If you were near,
Here with me
My angels would fly
On devils wings...
