PEAS CLOG

While sitting in church, mindlessly floating,
With the insence and prayers invoking,
It occurred to me, the least I could do,
Would be to memorize a verse or two.

Instead, I dwelled on the Super Seven,
The ones that would block entrance to Heaven.
Now, I  can quote them, whatever the use,
And others consider me quite the muse.

P=Pride
E=Envy
A=Anger
S=Sloth

C=Covetousness
L=Lust
O=or
G=Gluttony

So, PEAS CLOG: Pride, Envy,Anger,Sloth,
      Covetousness, Lust, or Gluttony, take your pick--
Say it over and over, and I promise it will stick!
