Christmas in America |
| Santa is fishing. Joey spots Santa and races down the pier. "Santa! Santa! Santa!" Joey hugs Santa. "Ho! Ho! Ho! What's your name little boy?" Santa rubs Joey's baseball cap. Joey laughs, "Joey! I'm Joe the plumber's kid." "Well. What can I do for you?" Santa casts his line and puffs on his pipe. "I want a red trycle with a big horn!" Joey jumps up to the railing beside Santa. "Ah. Have you saved your money?" Santa winks at Joey. "Wha-da-you-mean?" Joey is confused. "Well, you can't have a trycle if you can't pay for it." Santa takes a puff on his pipe and casts his line again. "But... your Santa: you give toys away..." Joey is getting upset. "Nope. I can't afford to do that anymore. Times are tough for Santa." Santa's line tightens. "Ho! I think I got lunch!" Santa pulls up a trout. Joey starts crying, "I want a trycle!" "Sorry, Santa's got no money. Want some trout?" Santa is gutting his supper. Joey runs home crying, "Santa's broke!" Joe the plumber holds his son, "So am I." :) |
