Why do you talk
when no one wants to hear?
What you're saying out loud
is not my biggest care.

Just remain silent
and let me look at you.
It's hard not to be stunned
by all the things that you do.

By saying nothing
you have become
a beautiful painting
gazed upon by none.

Your only looker
is a splendid sight
who could gaze upon you
all day and all night.

I really could become
quite paralyzed
by the way that you stand
and the look in your eyes.

But I'll remain in silence
and not say a word
and let you keep hanging
on the wall undisturbed.
