Everyone has an addiction...

My addiction
takes over.
I give in,
once more.
Then the pain
consumes me
and the tears will surely come.
Over and over I allow
my heart to be crushed.
The moral of the story
never really sinks in.
The lesson is never learned.
You've got me wrapped
around your little finger.
You know I'll always give in
to my addiction.
This bittersweet love
will be the death of me
I seem to be the only one
that can't see through you.
