To Feel Again

I lay awake in the dark,
and I can feel you breath,
as I silently thank God,
That you are next to me,

The tears I once cried,
The sorrow I once felt,
Feel now so far away,
While in your arms I melt.

Never thought that I'd,
Feel this way again,
but barriers you overcame,
and I had to let you in.

Because when you're here,
My worries drift away,
Nothing but us matters,
And that's why I will stay.

So now I close my eyes,
And listen to you heart,
And silently pray to God,
That we never part.
