the impact of your mistakes on judgement day

And when the stairway to heaven,
is temporarily blocked,
because of spilt blood
on concrete rock,
and when you start to cry
tears desecrated into the ground,
that is desecrated to your mind
and you cannot bear the sound
of tomorrows never coming
to rinse your heart and soul
and when you remind yourself
that its only rock and roll,
and when the seven deadly sins
have rendered forth their very way
allowing you to pray
just so that you can say
that you are not a sinner
moreover just a man of mistakes,
and that your life is not black and white
its just merely shades of gray,
and you remind yourself
that death won't come today
because the stairway to heaven
is the only possible way
you are willing to pass yourself off
as a martyr of a cause
no way a sinner,
because you've hurt more than a sinner ever does.
