Brave

A poem honoring the men and women in the armed service.

Brave.
That’s what they are,
these men and women,
who fight for us,
at home and afar.
They may never see battle,
but then again they may,
and defend for us our freedom,
and some,
with blood will pay.
So let us not forget,
what they never will,
and honor all
who come back home,
and those who never will.
