What does the cross of Jesus mean
It's more than an emblem on your chain
It's more than planks of wood knocked together
It's more than a sign for deliverance and protection
It's more than we can even imagine

It means change
It means new life
It means sacrifice
It means love, pure and unrefined
It means pain, and how great the pain

It shows the love of one man
That he would give his life
Oh the cross of Jesus
