In the darkness of night.

Hear echoes of tomorrow
As sleep claims your soul.
Hear your worries bid farewell
Hear the melody ring
And keep you from the cold.
In the time between two days,
Both too early and too late,
Thoughts drift around an empty heart
Still waiting to learn its fate.
Listen while you drift away
While the gentle rain still falls.
Listen as love tries to break through.
Listen, someone sings
To you beneath the walls.
