Little Things

this poem is about the little things in life that are important

It's the little things in life all of us need,
It's teaching a child a good deed.
It's that boy who just passed his test,
And that teenage girl trying to look her best,
It's that baby lying in the crib at night,
Or that special someone we hold tight.
It's the hug when we're feeling bad,
Or the comfort we need when we're mad.
It's the company we want when we're alone,
Or that helpful friend over the phone.
It's the A's on our report card,
And the prize we get when we work hard.
It's the pictures hanging on the walls,
Of us when we were small.
It's the little things in life that we often forget,
We need them,
We need every little bit.
