Love First

A Poem I wrote about love

Gathered together,
Man and the beast in man,
Both gathered within one flesh,
In one room, one presence, one blood.

All life from one origin,
            And all man from one woman.

Love first,

Love all flesh as my flesh.
Hate not man, but the spirit within.
His blood is my blood.
To curse my brother is to curse my own body
And my God.

To spill my sisters blood is to spill the life of my own mother,
And the life within my own veins.

To hate humanity is to hate

‘ELOHIYM.

So love first
And love and life and passion
And joy and peace and new life
Shall grow…
