Elements

just a little diddy I wrote at work.

The sun arises.
Burning hot.
Shining where it's wanted not.
A spot of red to mark its place.
It's rays so harsh upon my face.
I look for shelter.....none in sight.
My only relief will be the night.
The night so cool....I hope it will rain.
To ease this burning.
To ease this pain.
The sun starts to set.
Night's ever so near.
I erase my anger.
I erase my fear.
Faster now ....the clouds roll in.
I feel less burning...of my tingly skin.
Thank God for water.
Thank God for rain.
I'm drowning in a puddle now.....
But in a lot less pain!
