Superstar

Poetry started out as just something fun, but I would like to know if its any good.

I thought he was my superstar,
kind smart and funny.
I thought he was the perfect one,
a match made in heaven.

It took some time but then I knew
that it could never be.
I was just not good enough for one
as incredible as he.

So though it breaks my heart,
I know my superstar will be
in my thoughts and prayers,
always and forever,
for all eternity.
