The unexpected loss of my father

There's a hole in my heart that noone can see;
A hole in my heart because you left me.
You went away without saying good-bye.
Now all I have left are the tears that I cry.
It hurts to know that you are forever gone.
Unspoken words haunt me like an unwanted song.
Oh, to have one more day with you to rehash the past;
To give appologies, hugs and a proper farewell at last.
But, that's not a part of the Master's divine will.
Instead, I must be content with the sorrow I feel.
