Why?

the question I ask everyday about our society

glaring from unpoisoned Eyes
I watch this flourish while real life dies
how in the hell have any of us survived
at the mercy of the so called Civilized
breeding maggots to grow more flies
snapping back to reality the dreamer sighs
my perpetual question to our culture: "Why?!"
in their name must hope for us die
