Letting Go!

a piece about letting go!

It seems so simple and such an easy notion
but never have I found more of a challenging task.

You see I fell in love with a girl so rare, and honestly
to her not one has compared.

My love for her has stood firm and true; almost as if
it was by magic or a witches brew.

But in the end it was a love I lost; never knowing the
truth with come with such a heavy cost.

So now my task is that of letting go,
my heart dares not to allow my love to show!

They say to love someone so dear is to set them free,
and it is that above all that i truly fear.

But I must do what is right for both of our sakes,
and cease the fight to hold on,

and simply let go of her heart and mine!
