Together

I began to look across the listless sea
Catching tasteless thoughtless fish
Searching for something that could never be
But in my mind I only had one wish

Feeling you is all I’ll ever need
You’re breath is pulsing through my veins
Far from concealing our planted seed
I will sabotage your proverbial pain

Catching a glimpse of your eye
Pulling away from a kiss
Motivation to never lie
Filling me with endless bliss

I want to keep you from your darkest hour
Lifting you up with everything but causality
Sensing your overbearing power
Don’t dare leave me a fatality

Absorbing what you have thrown at me
Fills me with unparalleled motivation
This is so much more than I thought it could be
And so much positive intimidation

Together we caressed the flame to life
Together we will never let it die
Together we will be through the strife
Together we will spiritually fly
