From the first time you open your eyes to the very first breath you take
I'll watch every moment like its your last, take pleny of pictures so you can look back on your past

From your very first smile to your first of many cries
The first time you sneeze or sleep through your first sunrise, maybe then I can remove the bags from my eyes; but its quite alright, I'd stay up 40 days & nights to see you rest safe at night

From your first laugh to the frist time you crawl
Watchin your first steps praying it won't hurt if you fall
Cutting your first toon, hearing the first time you speak
Knowing my heart will be weak when you say "mommy" to me

I'll be there for all the first steps you take for together we will always fit
Every night when you sleep my heart will have peace knowing that you my son are worth every bit
