| Bittersweet As cold as truth, her azure eyes are Against her cheeks so rosy red Such stormy liquid orbs of sapphire Deep enough to drown the dead A wavy mane of midnight black Thicker than the winds of North Completes the details she’ll never lack To glorify the perfection she brings forth Deadlier than love is her smile Sweeter than desire is her voice So easily can she tantalize and beguile How many have succumbed without choice? Darkness they had found in her light The brightest star had led them astray So bitter-sweetly they wander her nefarious night Upon her luring laughter, themselves they betray |
