Emotion

A lot of the time, we are left high on life, at other times, we are left in the gutter...

We're told not to cry -
To rarely show emotion.
But this world is a lie -
And life's always in motion.

With ups and downs,
and side to side,
This coaster of time
leaves behind -
So many frowns
from which to hide:

My heart sighed,
cause love I can't find.
Oh what i'd give
for somewhere sunny to live,
and a corona and lime.
-now that would be a good time.

But for now,
I just sit and wait.
Love's a life killer,
but my Lord is great.
For him, I wait.
