Haiku poems i had to do in a language class

if you didn't know already, haiku poems are in a pattern with 5 syllables followed by 7 then 5 again. hope you enjoy them.

Nature

The night sky was black
as the rolling thunder came
it rained cats and dogs.

The gigantic tree
stood above all in its way
like a skyscraper.

the puffy clouds
made their stand in the blue sky
waiting, watching all.

The blazing red sun
was dropping as a needle
on a red background.
