The Call

It had been so long since I last saw him. How could I explain why I hadn't called sooner? Though fearful of what might happen, I had to call him. It hurt too much not to. I needed him.

"Hello? I'd like to make an appointment with Dr. Chancerler. I think I've broken a tooth."
