How can you say you love me,
Then turn around and make me cry?
Why are you sweet today,
And tomorrow, a different guy?


Why do I keep coming back,
When my heart is already broken?
Why do I expect it to be different,
When your harsh words have already been spoken?


I gave you all I had,
But it wasn't enough for you.
I really don't want to walk away,
But there's nothing else I can do.


The hurt is more than I can take,
Just don't forget how much I cared.
I'll love you 'til the end of time,
And won't forget what we shared.
