Confused

When I try to read someones thoughts or feelings, I just confuse myself more.

The hardest thing in life,
is trying to figure out,
no, attempting a wild guess,
at what someone's thinking about

I read through body language,
but eyes are doors to souls,
Gazing deeply into someone's
their inner most feelings, shows.

but when from across the room,
eyes meet and downward turn.
Is it coincidence, or maybe...more?
I guess I'll never learn.

Silly girl, jumping to,
conclusions way to fast.
but since they're never true
my hopes never long last.
