Trapped

This was written during my "emo" days.

Crimson rain pours from the obsured heavens
defeated wings imprison me, I cannot escape
Darkness has drawn me in
I'm addicted to sin
Misery perimerters my freedom
lost in a complex maze
With the walls built high around my heart
no longer letting anything enter
salty tear drops trickle from my tempestuous eyes
ambling through a shallow pool of cherry water
Silhouettes of figures gaze at me through the hedges
sone gargoyles crumble as i pass
red roses fade to plack in my presence
the brevity of pain fills my soul
Drowning in ectasy's shadow
the mirage of an exit i cannot approach
Forever trapped in the morbid garden
eternally trapped in solitude
everymore trapped somwhere between reality and fantasy
everlastingly trapped fleeding from the reapers and demise
while continuing to bleed out of my heart through the lacerations
bound to the mud soaked earth
