Unrequited Love

I love you so
I really do
You sit with me
And talk with me
But do you really see
The emotion in my eyes
When I laugh at your corny jokes
Or when I listen
So enthralled
In your little stories
I love to hear your voice
So I listen when you talk
Any small smile from you
Will brighten my hour, day and week
I love to look at you
Your ice blue eyes
And dark brown hair
Always keep me captivated
I love you so
I really do
But do you really see
How I laugh with you
And talk to you
Just so you’ll sit with me?
