| How do you think the news about bloody battles such as Shiloh affected men who were thinking of enlisting in the army? From reading the text on Shiloh I think the men that were going to enlist in the army may have changed their mind reading or seeing how many people died or were hurt. Shiloh was a really dangerous battle and killed a lot of men in the war and it may have let others to think that they would have a higher risk of dieing now than before, since that battle. In the end though I bet that if they were really conmitted they would have enlisted because in any fight they have a chance of dieing. |
