A poem about waiting

Wait,
what to do,
while I wait.
Fate,
to be bored,
is my fate.
Write,
that’s what I’ll do,
just write, write, write.
Late,
must be on time,
do not be late.
Date,
it’s very important,
to see my date.
Gate,
that which keeps me out,
a great big gate.
Wait,
they’ve come to get me,
I no longer have to wait.
